Please read the following important information regarding shipping and returns. It applies to the LPs listed on this site, as well as to music books and sheet music listed on Music @ Classicvinyl.biz. Thank you.
Payment: This online store is setup to handle payment automatically through Paypal. I have been a member of Paypal since 2000 and have managed hundreds of transactions with customers from Tokyo to Tuscaloosa. At checkout, you will be redirected to the Paypal website, where your actual transaction will take place in encrypted format. (Please click here to see what the Paypal site, to which you will be redirected upon completion of your purchase, looks like). If you do not have a Paypal account, you either can set one up at the time of payment, or you may send me a personal check or money order; this option is now provided at checkout. To discuss other payment arrangements, or if you have any questions, please contact me.
Shipping: I will ship your album(s) to you via priority mail. (If you are purchasing books or sheet music, you have the option of having your merchandise shipped to you by media mail shipping.) Priority mail is the safest and most reliable method for moving record albums. Important: First class mail shipment of LPs by the USPS is not an option, unfortunately, given the weight of the package (see the following link for more information: http://www.usps.com/send/waystosendmail/senditwithintheus/firstclassparcels.htm).
Returns: If you are unsatisfied for any reason whatsoever with your purchase, you may return it to me within three business days of receipt for a full refund. You must return the LP(s) (and/or books, as applicable) to me in the same condition they were when I sent them and you received them. If you have paid via Paypal, you will receive a full and complete refund. Additionally, I will split the return shipping charges with you in the form of credit towards the purchase of another album(s) from this store.
My reputation: Perhaps the best indicator these days of a seller's online reputation is his or her feedback on eBay. - Shipping charges are calculated like they would be at the post office: your album(s) will be shipped from my zip code (20882) to your zip code, and the fee will be calculated as a function of the distance between the two locations and based on the weight of the product.
- Generally speaking, a single LP, once packaged in a flat cardboard container, weighs between 16 and 18 ounces. A package with multiple LPs will weigh more.
- If you'd like for me to try to arrange another shipping method (faster, less expensive, etc.), or if you live outside the USA and have any questions, please contact me before you purchase. I will be glad to try to accommodate your request.
