10 inch LPs: Music from the 1940s, 50s
Music on 10" LPs,produced during the 1940s and 50s. Featuring the Hawaiian bandleader Lani McIntire, the Italian bass Cesare Siepi, 33-year-old Isaac Stern performing the Sibelius Violin concerto in D minor, German bandleader Horst Wende, the Royale Orchestra, and others. I will be uploading dozens more tracks here in the coming weeks. There are a few different labels represented here, including London and "Royale," a label that was founded in the late 1930s by Eli Oberstein (1901-1960).
